As part of the 2020 SPLOST vote, The Classic Center Arena is a 192,000 square-foot multifunctional space for sporting events, family shows, concerts, conferences, and more. The new facility will be able to hold 8,500 people and transform for any occasion, from concerts and sports tournaments to banquets and general sessions. Amenities include an ice hockey floor, concert and performance set-up, and a seven-trailer load-in dock. Construction of the new arena began in January 2022 and it is expected to open in early 2024. Aptitude will be installing structured cabling, access control, video surveillance, security intercom, intrusion detection, audio visual and sound system, broadcast and video system, in-house video production, and television distribution. As part of this, our team is overseeing three trade partners.
